Leaves: long-to short-petioled, obovate, dentate to pinnately shallow-lobed, up to 5cmx2cm, obtuse or acute.

Flowers: are purplish, pink or white, heavy-scented, in dense terminal racemes becoming much lax at fruiting.

Sepals: erect, up to 7(-10)mm long.

Petals: up to 15mm long. Silicula orbicular, glossy straw-colored or purplish tinged at maturity, chordate based, up to c.15(-18) mm across, satiate, with a prominent median, dentate crest, indehiscent
