Abutilon pannosum
An erect perennial herb to shrub 1.5-3 m tall with velvety٫stellate-pubescent branches.Leaves with 4- 7x2mm٫linear-lanceoalte stipules٫and 2-15 cm long petioles; blades broadly ovate٫4-13 cm across٫ cordate at base٫acute to acuminate at apex٫ serrulate to irregularly serrate٫ 7-9-nerved٫ both surfaces velvety and stellate-pubescent. Flowers axillary٫ solitary or in pseudoracemes or panicles on terminal branches by the reduction of leaves٫yellow٫3-4.5 cm across with or without purple centre; pedicels 1- 3.5 cm long٫ articulate.Calyx8-15 mm long٫ lobes ovate to deltoid٫ acuminate. Petals obovate٫ 15-20 x 13 -17 mm;slightly notched٫ claw hairy along the margin. Staminal-column c. 5 mm long. Fruit globose٫ 10- 15 mm across٫ villose; mericarps 20-31٫ 7-9 x 4-6 mm. Seeds 3 in each mericarp٫ reniform٫ 2-2.4 x2 mm.
