Solanum villosum Mill.
Annual, erect herb, up to 60 cm, glabrescent or young parts covered with simple, adpressed, glandular hairs. Petiole 1_2 cm. Leaves ovate-lanceolate to ovate, 3-5 x 2-3.5 cm, cuneate, entire to dentate, acute somewhat decurrent into petiole. Flowers 3-6 in peduncled cymes, peduncle 0.4-2 cm long, pediceis equal to or a little longer than peduncle Calyx 2-2.5 mm long, divided to the middle, sparsely adpressed hairva lobes obtuse. Corolla white to pale purple, 5-6 mm long, divided to or below the middle; lobes clavat- hairy on the margin and sparsely so along the purple median line outside. Anthers 0.5-2.5 mm long. Ovary globose; style filiform, 5-6 mm long; stigma globose. Berry usually longer than broad, glabrous, orange 6-9 mm in diameter. Seeds 1.6-2 mm long, flat, rugose.
