Diagnostic description:
Erect, much-branched, shrubby perennial up to c. 80 cm tall. Branches densely appressed-pubescent. Leaves short-petioled; stipules setaceous-triangular, c. 3 mm long: leaflets 5-9, oblanceolate to oblong, up to c. 30 x 3-8 mm, tomentose on both sides, more densely so and with longer hairs on the lower side, acute or obtuse. Pseudoracemes terminal, long-pedunculate, many-flowered. Flowers pink, c. 10 mm long. Calyx c. 8 mm long, densely long-hairy; teeth linear, about thrice as long as the tube. Standard densely long hairy on the back. Pods ovoid, c. 10 x 6 mm, densely long hairy, 1-seeded.
