Inflrescences:inner involved bracts 8 or more up to C.10 (-13)mm long
Ligules bright yellow, up to c. 7(-9) mm long above corolla-tube. Achenes much variable, the outer black to corky white, 2.5-5 mm long, with 5 main th pressed and curved or some columnar-fusiform, the ribs variable from thin to thick-corky, abruth tapering at top below the pappus. Pappus homomorphic of setaceous rays, up to c. 9 mm long, decidion along with the prominent, orange-yellow pappus disc.

Leaves:Leaves radical except for one to three leaves on the lower nodes of scapes . Lower leaves broadly to narrowly oblong to spathulate , sinuately pinnately shallowly deeply lobed , irregularly denticulate obtuse or acute .
